Elizabeth Simpson


Director, Public Affairs

Elizabeth Simpson serves as a Director in Woodberry Associates’ Public Affairs division, supporting management of the firms’ clients, developing and executing advocacy campaigns, and building relationships with clinician and patient advocates, allied advocacy organizations and other stakeholders. 

Elizabeth is experienced in combining her background in health care policy with an ability to develop stakeholder relationships to execute successful advocacy strategies. Throughout her career, she has built an understanding of the intersection of policy, business, and advocacy. In a previous role at Woodberry Associates, Elizabeth managed clinician working groups and patient advocacy campaigns, keeping patient impact as her top priority. Elizabeth has a background in health policy consulting and Medicare policy, and has experience on Capitol Hill in the office of former Senator Doug Jones. 

Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban and Community Health and Political Science at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, and her Master of Public Administration degree with a Health Policy Concentration at American University in Washington, DC. Elizabeth proudly hails from Homewood, AL and currently resides in Washington, DC with her husband, Peter and their miniature dachshund, Hamilton.
