Karissa is a director in Woodberry Associates’ Strategic Communications division, supporting the strategic messaging and deliverables for clients in the health care sector.
Prior to joining Woodberry Associates, Karissa served as an associate director of Outreach and Strategic Partnerships at the American Kidney Fund, where she managed the development of several health equity and literacy resources to ensure patients can make informed decisions about their care. Karissa also has extensive experience in program management within the non-profit sector.
Karissa received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Howard University and a Master of Science in Health Promotion Management from American University.
