Natalie Mamerow serves as Advocacy Specialist for Woodberry Associates.
She is a seasoned public policy and advocacy professional with extensive experience spanning Capitol Hill, the executive branch, and national nonprofit and trade association advocacy. She began her career as a legislative staffer for U.S. Congressman Ron Kind (WI-03), where she supported a broad policy portfolio and constituent engagement efforts.
Natalie later served in the Obama Administration at the U.S. Department of the Interior, gaining firsthand experience in federal policymaking and intergovernmental collaboration. She also worked as a federal lobbyist for the American Society of Civil Engineers, advocating on water infrastructure policy issues before Congress and federal agencies.
In addition to her government and advocacy work, Natalie has spent more than a decade engaged in health and patient advocacy – through volunteer work with the National Alopecia Areata Foundation and work with the Coalition of Skin Diseases – and is an alopecia patient advocate herself.
Natalie earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and her graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University. She resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her two young daughters and two cats. When she’s not advocating, she can be found volunteering in the community, kayaking on the Milwaukee River, or camping in one Wisconsin’s many beautiful state parks.
