Michelle Winokur

Senior Director, Strategic Alliances

Michelle Winokur is a senior director in Woodberry’s Strategic Alliances division, where she supports health care clients with top-notch services that advance their policy objectives. Michelle also serves as the executive director of two nonprofits: the Institute for Patient Access, a physician-led policy research organization, and the Clinical Neurology Society of America, a specialty medical society that is supported by Woodberry’s Coalition & Nonprofit Management division.

Prior to joining Woodberry, Michelle spent more than a decade in public service including executive roles in the offices of Florida’s governor and chief financial officer as well as at the Agency for Health Care Administration and the Department of Health.  She also spent several years as a private-sector management consultant and an adjunct professor.

Michelle earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida State University.  She also has a Doctorate of Public Health in epidemiology and biostatistics from Florida A&M University.  She and her husband live in Tallahassee, Florida with their spirited toddler son.
