Matt Adams is the General Counsel for Woodberry Associates and is responsible for overseeing the company’s legal functions.
Matt brings more than a decade of legal experience to Woodberry Associates. He has served as General Counsel and Associate General Counsel for privately held companies. He has extensive experience in contracts, advising human resource departments, and corporate governance. Matt has experience as a litigator and in advisory roles in state and federal courts. He has served as a non-profit board member and non-profit legal advisor.
Matt retired from the Army National Guard in 2017 with twenty years of service. He served as an enlisted soldier and an officer. Matt branched into Aviation upon commissioning. He served in the Virginia Army National Guard and the Texas Army National Guard and deployed numerous times to support the Bosnia and Herzegovina stabilization mission and the War on Global Terrorism. Matt earned the Army Senior Aviator Badge.
Matt is an alumnus of Virginia Commonwealth University and New Mexico Military Institute. He earned his JD from St. Mary’s University, School of Law.
