Kristen Santiago is a Senior Director in Woodberry Associates’ Health Care Advocacy division, where she supports management and programming of nonprofits.
Kristen has extensive experience in strategic advocacy and stakeholder engagement, with deep expertise in public policy, and patient-and-caregiver support and program development. Kristen has over 20 years of experience building public-private partnerships, analyzing policy landscapes, and translating stakeholder insights into actionable strategies that inform legislation, regulatory engagement, and national program development. Kristen has held leadership positions in prominent patient advocacy organizations such as the LUNGevity Foundation and the Cancer Support Community and has also held positions in State Government and in the pharmaceutical industry.
Kristen received a Master of Science degree in Health Promotion Management from the American University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the George Washington University. Kristen resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband and two children but will always think of her native Philadelphia as home.
