Kimberly Serota


Director, Advocacy Management

Kimberly Serota is a director in Woodberry Associates’ Advocacy Management division, supporting management of the firms’ clients, developing and executing awareness campaigns, and managing relationships with physician members, advocacy groups and other allied stakeholders.  

As an accomplished advocate, Kimberly brings her experience in political science, and passion as a Social Worker, in developing relationships and cultivating collaborative opportunities to Woodberry Associates. Throughout her career she has remained dedicated to increasing the patient voice through education and awareness, and ensuring appropriate access to care for all patients. Prior to joining Woodberry Associates, Kimberly worked for a physician organization where she successfully launched two patient advocacy coalitions, achieved measured successes within the National Institutes of Health, and strengthened the voice of the researcher in research advocacy efforts. 

Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Africana Studies from the State University of New York (SUNY) in Albany, NY and a Master of Social Work in Management and Community Organization from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Kimberly was born and raised in Maryland, and currently resides in Washington, DC.
