Getting to Know Woodberry: Fall Interns

Woodberry Associates recently welcomed its fall intern class of three undergraduate students from local universities. Meet them below, and join us in welcoming them to Woodberry.

Rose Kaissar

Rose is a sophomore at Georgetown University, where she majors in government. At Woodberry, Rose enjoys learning about how stakeholders shape policy and honing her project management skills.

“I am gaining experience and comfort with many government affairs matters and processes that I know will be essential in my professional pursuits in the future.”

Corbin Buchwald

Corbin is also a sophomore at Georgetown, where he majors in government. He hopes to attend law school after graduating and eventually work in Washington, DC.

“I appreciate the opportunity to improve my critical thinking and professional skills. It has also been a pleasure to be able to learn more about future career paths that combine both work with the government and stakeholder engagement.”

Killian Lozach

Killian is a sophomore at American University, where he majors in international relations with a minor in creative writing. Killian enjoys working with the firm’s health care advocacy clients in particular.

“I have been able to attend conferences and meet fascinating people in the health care advocacy and policy arena.”

Rose, Corbin and Killian join Woodberry’s existing interns, Shanley Silvey and Nina Perez. Each is a valuable member of the Woodberry team and plays an important role in supporting the firm’s clients.
